Research some human activities that affect your cycle.
You can also go back to the Introduction page and look at the website linked from the picture of the Earth. It has lots of information and ideas on it.
Step 2:
Once you have selected one way human activity affects your cycle eg- that polluted water becomes acid rain- and the consequences of this, you can begin to work out what scenario you will show on your comic strip.
Do a draft working out your characters, setting, script and plot before beginning your comic strip. You could use a story board to do this.... Storyboard template.docx
Step 3:
Go to this website Make Beliefs Comix and begin to construct your comic strip. Make sure that everyone has a go at creating the comic strip, perhaps take turns in making each panel of the strip.
Tip- Most comic strips use elements of comedy to help get their point across, it might help to make your comic strip funny. Take a look at some comic strips online or in your newsagent for some ideas.
You will be sharing this comic strip with the rest of the class on Discovery Day, as well as sharing how you came up with your idea for the comic strip and your research into the human activity you chose that affects your cycle.
This is your chance to be really creative and put the information you have gathered into a real situation. This will help you to build up a concept of what you are going to focus on for your end task.
This is a link to how each person in your group will be assessing your comic strip..
